As per the 2nd objective of the progress meeting (anticipate inputs that do not need to wait Spring meeting - especially for people that may unable to attend), ESA would like to advance the LBDF draft Orange Book, with Beta SANA register https://beta.sanaregistry.org/r/link_budget_digital_format_xml/

During the progress meeting, ESA will ask the WG if it is possible to have the WG review during the period of May, in order to have possibly the OB sent for publication during the Spring (June) meeting

With reference to the C&S progress meeting organization, it is confirmed Friday April 11, at the following time

17:00-19:00 Amsterdam
8:00-10:00 Los Angeles
11:00-13:00 DC

Invitation was sent some days ago. In case you did not receive it, you can find it in attachment.


For the organization, I propose again the simplified version of last time, that looked more suited for the telco, i.e..,

  *   Review of AIs list
  *   For each item, the actionee can either:
     *   Provide an input (as in normal meetings), or
     *   Debrief the status of the AI (even verbally is fine) for discussing possible open points, doing brainstorming, or simply give an educated guess by when the AI will be closed
  *   Inputs shall not be announced and provided in advance, unless you require the WG to take a look beforehand (e.g., detailed analysis, new topic, etc.)
  *   Just in case you believe your AI discussion should take more than 15 mins, please let me know a few days before meeting, for adapting the planning (in general, I expect that AI_24_17 and AI_24_18 on Prox-1 can take more, while others will be more status update)

Hi all,
I have seen this year CCSDS will be almost a "Summer" meeting , and it appears in time overlap with SFCG (10-18 June).
We had also an initial plan was to have a progress meeting in February,  but this is pending the ongoing AIs on Proxy-1.

Considering the situation, I would like to postpone the remote progress meeting on Friday April 11, at the following time

17:00-19:00 Amsterdam
8:00-10:00 Los Angeles
11:00-13:00 DC

With the following objectives:
-review Proxy-1 status of activities (of interest also for RFM/SLP)
- anticipate inputs that do not need to wait Spring meeting (useful also for those that may unable to attend it)

For those that the slot does not work, could you let me know?
(few absences are fine, but in case of large majority, I check for a new slot or set a doodle)

SPRING 2025 TECHNICAL, CESG, AND CMC MEETINGS
Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL) will host the Spring 2025 Technical Plenary and Management Meetings in Laurel, MD. The technical meetings will be held from 09 June to 13 June. [Note: This will be a five-day technical meeting]

The CCSDS Engineering Steering Group (CESG) will meet Monday, 16 June and Tuesday, 17 June, followed by a CCSDS Management Council (CMC) meeting on Wednesday, 18 June and Thursday, 19 June.

Please inform the Secretariat if you require an invitation letter to attend the Spring 2025 meetings (secretariat at mailman.ccsds.org<mailto:secretariat at mailman.ccsds.org>).

Registration for the meeting will be announced mid to late March 2025.
