Hi, all.  At the CFDP WG meeting this morning someone asked about the Area Dinner.  A great idea!  No idea yet for an exact time or place, but let's plan for an Area Dinner somewhere in Den Haag on Wednesday evening.  Details to follow as soon as I make them up.

No idea yet about the exact time or place, but let's plan on having an Area Dinner on Wednesday evening.  Let me know if you can make it, so I can get a head count. Okay, we have a plan: we are dining at De Dagvisser (https://www.dedagvisser.nl/food-wine/) at 7:30pm this evening.  The address is Dr. Lelykade 26 and the hotel's concierge will be arranging for taxis to take us there, leaving at 7:10pm.  At this point, my count for dinner is 12 including all who have emailed me, plus Keith and all four SIS folk from JAXA.  If anyone else wishes to join us (or if anyone needs to bail), please email me before 5:30 so I can get advance word to the restaurant.

The Space Internetworking Services Area,

CONSIDERING that the “Mars Mission Protocol Profiles—Purpose and Rationale” Green Book, Issue 1, is dated July 2008, and

RECOGNIZING that agencies’ strategic vision for Mars missions has evolved substantially since that date, particularly with regard to the utilization of Delay-Tolerant Networking protocol standards, therefore

RESOLVES to retire this Green Book.
