Yes, the Primary test that we are running is having both SDP and RTP consumed by HDTN subsequently sending the bundles to DTNME as separate services where they are decapsulated and put back out on the network. Packet captures will be done as the packets enter, while the packets are encapsulated in bundles between HDTN and DTNME, and as the packets are put back on the network to verify everything is in the correct format. Tests will be done in the reverse operation with DTNME sending to HDTN as well to ensure complete interoperability.

Just to be all on the same page, let's make sure that the interoperability testing (i.e. the yellow book) is proving that the features and the options indicated in the PICS at the end of the draft blue have reached interoperability. It is not necessary to have individual tests for each PICS items, but they can be conveniently put together. As some of you may recall, the previous version of the book that underwent the CESG review (a few years ago already) was a bit leaky on this aspect and some of the CESG members spotted some inconsistency.

Testing 8/5 - Spent the morning troubleshooting why HDTN was not seeing the SDP packets. We were able to resolve the problem, but it consumed the time we had available for the day. We are going to be testing again tomorrow and hopefully nothing else pops up.
