[Sis-mia] Resolution SIS-R-2017-06-001: Approval to modify the Charter for the Motion Imagery and Applications Working Group

Hi.  The following resolution has been approved by SIS.

The Space Internetworking Services Area,

CONSIDERING that the Motion Imagery and Applications Working Group

  *   Recognizes the possibility of impaired motion imagery interoperability in crewed missions absent adherence to the real-time protocol (RTP) industry standard,
  *   Has agreed to investigate a proposal to develop a CCSDS standard for RTP configuration,
  *   Has agreed to extend the Working Group's charter to accommodate this and similar standardization initiatives, and
  *   Has developed a revised charter (https://cwe.ccsds.org/sis/docs/SIS-MIA/Charters/Current%20Charter/SIS_MIA_CharterRevision_rg2.docx) reflecting this agreement,
RESOLVES t to request CMC to approve the modification of the Motion Imagery and Applications Working Group charter as noted, and

RECOMMENDS that the CMC approve this resolution and, and finally

REQUESTS that a CMC poll be conducted to accomplish this.
