Hi.  I have got contact information for Chris Taylor, but after all this time I doubt he would know where to find that code.

Hi Andrea,

by chance I found an old paper “Proximity-1 simulating the CCSDS Proximity-1 protocol for ExoMars” (though I cannot access it) with first author being Robert Blommestijn that I think is still with ESA. Maybe you can check with him. The other two from ESA are Alistair Winton and Chris Taylor. The last one retired long ago, I don’t know much about the other one.

Hi all,

I had long time ago a heads-up that ESA has three SW (reported also on CCSDS website https://public.ccsds.org/implementations/software.aspx) that could had been adopted freely, by placing a license with ESA (it should be no cost, just for limiting the distribution).

But I don’t know what layers were implemented and who was following these SW (I was not there yet).

If somebody of the CCSDS veterans has some indications, in case I can inquire in ESA.

Hi Keith,

I am not aware of any open source implementations. The only European implementations (I believe) are from QinetiQ (UK) and TAS (Italy), neither of which are open source.
