Hi, Bob. The first Red Book for AMS has been posted to AMSWG's CWE area
on the CCSDS web site, so as chair of the working group I would now like
to ask for an initial review of that book. Three CCSDS WGs may want to
give parts of this document particular attention:
1. Since AMS has been proposed as a way of satisfying the requirements
for message transfer service in SOIS, sections 1, 2, 3.1 (especially
3.1.2.6 and 3.1.2.9), and 4.3.1 may be of interest to the TCOAS WG of SOIS.
2. Since AMS has been proposed as a vehicle for transmission of SM&C
Protocol messages, sections 1, 2 (especially 2.3.10), and 3.1 may be of
interest to the SM&C WG of MOIMS.
3. Sections 2.3.8, 4.1, and 5.1.4, which outline AMS's security model,
may be of interest to the Security WG of SEA.
Thanks,
Scott
