Ooops.  I have not yet setup the XEG mailing list, partly because the RMP and the whole new way of doing business has not yet been “blessed” by the CESG.

Hi Peter,

We have received a request for an URN allocation. As per registry policy and URN name space policy,
the request has been forwarded to XEG at mailman.ccsds.org<mailto:XEG at mailman.ccsds.org>.

However, seeing http://mailman.ccsds.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo, there is no mention of the XEG
list on the page, and I don't recall if the list was officially set-up.

Can you please confirm is the address is valid, or if it's not, to whom should we send the request
for approval?

I believe that this request for a CSS URN is aligned with SANA URN practices and that it does not collide with any other existing CCSDS namespace.  Unless there is an objection raised by COB Wed, 16 Dec 2015, I recommend that we approve it.
