Hi Peter,

You’re right, we change from GMT to BST at 01:00 on Sunday 29th March.

We’re usually aligned with Europe, but given Brexit, who knows if this will continue!

Cheers,

Roger

Hi Christian,

I think that time offset is an artifact of the (mis-)alignment between European Summer Time and US Daylight Savings Time. We start Daylight Saving Time in the United States 2017 in California will begin at 2:00 AM on Sunday, March 12.

According to Wikipedia European Summer Time is observed across three time zones, beginning at 01:00 UTC/ <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_European_Time> WET (02:00 <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_European_Time> CET, 03:00 <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_European_Time> EET) on the last Sunday in March and ending at 01:00 UTC (02:00 <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_European_Summer_Time> WEST, 03:00 <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_European_Summer_Time> CEST, 04:00 <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_European_Summer_Time> EEST) on the last Sunday in October each year.

There is, therefore, a 2 week difference, hence the time shift. I hope that is ok.

Thanks, Peter

Hello Peter,

I may have a constraint for both dates as there is a workshop/conference at ESTEC/ESA where I may participate.

But I’ll know this on Monday, where I could tell finally my availability.

To the meeting on Monday, it appears in my calendar as starting from 15:00 European time, is this the right time? I have another telecon (14:00 - 17:00) which I could leave for the CCSDS one.

Former telecons you scheduled (winter time) started at 16:00 European time. However, it would be in-line with meeting announcement beyond which is in European summer time.

Best regards, Christian

Propose this meeting schedule to avoid a conflict on Thursday, 30 March. Please let me know if it is acceptable. We'll settle the agenda at the end of the 13 March meeting.

Thanks, Peter
