[CCSDS Observers] CCSDS Review of CCSDS 131.0-P-2.1, TM Synchronization and Channel Coding

The following draft CCSDS Recommended Standard has been placed on 
line for CCSDS Agency review:

      CCSDS 131.0-P-2.1.  TM Synchronization and Channel Coding.
                          Pink Book.  Issue 2.1.  September 2016.

DOCUMENT DESCRIPTION:  The Recommended Standard for TM 
Synchronization and Channel Coding contains specifications to be used 
by space missions on synchronous communications links.  The current 
draft update adds LCPC coding for a stream of Channel Access Data 
Units (CADUs).

The due date for receipt of Agency review comments by the Review 
Coordinator is 2016-12-9.  More information is available at the Web 
site identified below.
