[MOIMS] [EXTERNAL] CESG Opening Plenary: MOIMS inputs

Mario,

SM&C chart is fine.

In SM&C we will be talking about Artemis.  Maybe we should have some general discussion at the Area level.  Do we really care about Artemis?  How can we stay engaged?  So far, the official documents seem to cover the movement of data (CCSDS packets), and the use of EDSs and XTCE, but has very little on the actual INFORMATION across the interfaces.

If we look at several ops scenarios:

1.      Common, controlled architecture and interfaces across all space and ground assets  (not the plan)

2.      NASA-directed, both government and commercial assets

3.      Mix of government (NASA, ESA, JAXA, etc.) and commercial assets, each with their own approach

What standards would we tell Artemis we think are needed?

Also, any plans for a MOIMS dinner?  Wednesday is the full CCSDS dinner.
