MOIMS-MPS WG-R-2015-09-001: Resolution to nominate chair and deputy chair 
of the Mission Planning and Scheduling WG 

The MOIMS AD

CONSIDERING that the creation of the MOIMS Mission Planning and Scheduling 
WG had been approved by CCSDS;

CONSIDERING that all CCSDS member Agencies have been asked to provide 
candidates for the position of WG chair and deputy chair;

CONSIDERING that the following two candidacies have been received: Mehran 
Sarkarati (ESA), Steve Chien (NASA);

RECOGNISING that both candidates have strong background and experience in 
Mission Planning and Scheduling (see attached relevant information);

RECOMMENDS that Mehran is nominated chair and Steve deputy chair, and that 
the Secretariat initiates the required CESG poll.
