Hi David et al,

What is the schedule for finalising the greene book? Our original plan was to have the first draft ready for the review by the last Spring meeting, so to say that we are already some months behind the schedule.

We have been updating/reviewing the green book since a while. I was hoping o finalise it and sending it to the review by November and moveing to the blue book.
If DLR would like to propose new content for the green book, I would suggest to submit the proposed text asap, so that we can all review and discuss it before the November meeting and use the Nov meeting to close the hopefully few minor final open comments before sending the green book to the review.

There is a lot of work in front of us for the blue book and I am sure the input from DLR can be corporated in the actual blue book. Hence my recommendation would be not to delay the green book, unless there is a major issue.

Best Regards
Mehran

Lindolfo and I generally send out reminders a day or two before the event. We also include the latest draft of the Green Book in meeting reminder for those who wish to make their edits in that way.

Perhaps if you could share an outline or a draft of the work in progress with the Working Group, we can make an effort to align the works in advance of the November meeting. In the meantime, we’ll take an action to determine whether or not a Green Book can contain actual “shall” requirements, or if those need to be reserved for the subsequent Blue Book.

This framework was discussed at the Fall CCSDS 2013 meeting and we received positive feedback. This has proven to be a very productive method that enables collaboration on a document, thus we are extending collaboration with this tool to enable quicker/more real time comments and updates to the document. Green Book updates will also be posted in the CCSDS CWE on a periodic basis for reference purposes. More information later.

> To enable increased collaborative review of the Telerobotics Operations Services Green Book we would like to have a meeting every two weeks with all who are interested. The goal of this meetings is to review updates to the Green Book with the community, get inputs and generally agree on the direction of the document leading to a mature document release by the Spring 2014 CCSDS meeting. The tool we chose to use for this collaboration is VSee.com. VSee allows for realtime video and voice across a distributed community. We have used this tool and verified it works efficiently. More information later.
