HTTP/XML update status

All the RIDs are covered

Pending:

*        Book update and exchanges with CCSDS editors

*        Agency Review status unknown (waiting for Mehran's answer)

HTTP/XML 2nd prototype => JPL or CNES?

Still open. JPL evaluating if they can take this 2nd prototype. Dominik says that the prototype would be an update of the previous prototype, so he speaks about a hundred of hours



SPP update status

No update. From last time:

The update of the book has started. Stefan will have the book in line with HTTP/XML (same section and description logic)

DLR' implementation is updated in parallel

Goal: Having a first draft mid of January



M&C prototype status

ESA resources are allocated, and the work has started.

Periodic meeting are scheduled between ESA and CNES to stay in sync

Expected duration on ESA side: 4-6 months



GB update status

Most sections are ready

Diagrams to re-do, so that we have the sources

Goal: Send a final draft in January and do a dedicated meeting for proof-reading.



Security chapter for the GreenBook

Elmar has started writing section 5 and presented it to the working group. He will merge it into the main book draft. and propose something for section 6.4 (if it's not clear what to address in this section, he can contact Olivier).



Reminder of the general actions (for all)

*        XTCE: Collection of agency pain points (ESA, DLR, JPL):

o   ESA is not using XTCE, so there is no pain point. ESA is currently pushing TDM (the exchange format for EGS-CC) and will not move to XTCE except if the community asks for it.

*        SSA (Space Situation Awareness): Collection of agency needs (ESA, DLR, JPL):

o   ESA is doing internal studies to enhance the situation and processes but is reluctant to standardize it yet.

*        Standardization of operational procedures for relay operations

o   ESA will not start work on this topic without commitment from the US since relay operations are mostly done between ESA and NASA
