[Moims-sc] [CESG] Resolution MOIMS-SM&C WG-R-2018-02-001: Approval to publish the Blue Book CCSDS 524.3-R-1, Mission Operations - Message Abstraction Layer Binding to HTTP Transport and XML Encoding

Craig:

When a RID is input into the HTML form it is supposed to be forwarded to the NASA review coordinator, whose responsibility it is to deliver all NASA-approved RIDs to the CCSDS coordinator at the end of the review. Historically it has been demonstrated that there are a couple of weak points in that process; e.g., sometimes the form does not forward the RIDs to the NASA review coordinator, and sometimes the NASA review coordinator does not forward the RIDs to the CCSDS coordinator.

At this point the best course is to make the NASA review coordinator (CCed) aware of the problem. He can request that the Working Group accept the late RID input from NASA, but the Working Group has the discretion to disregard RIDs received after the deadline for submission.

As far as I know official delivery of RIDs is up to delegates.

Dear all,

Several NASA RIDs were submitted via the “Review Documents” page, which were not in this resolution’s consolidated list of RIDs and dispositions:

The RIDs I submitted were minor, but mine and the others are sitting right there for everyone to see. Why do we have a RID submission page, if what is submitted there is not received and reviewed? There appears to be a gap in the process somewhere.

Best regards,
