Here are some notes from the CESG/CMC after the Spring 2026 Meetings recently concluded (in case you didn’t receive directly from the Secretariat)… I highlighted a couple of decisions below that represent some positive changes implemented during the CESG/CMC meetings that will save some time in the document “end game” process.

Key Outcomes from CESG/CMC Week 2:

  1.  A separate CMC poll is no longer required for books before they proceed to review.
  2.  Publication polls for CESG and CMC will occur concurrently and run at the same time.
  3.  Polls will remain open for 14 days.
As a result of these updates:

  *   We will now save 4 weeks on Blue and Magenta Books.
  *   We will now save 2 weeks on all other books.
