Attached are materials for the "divide & conquer" proofreading of the "Conjunction Data Message" Pink Book version 1.6 (the "changes accepted" version of the document, section assignments, and a blank CRM).

Based on discussion at the Spring 2026 Meetings, the Working Group members believe this version of the CDM is technically ready for publication.

However, we need to perform a proofreading of the document before proceeding to the next step (i.e., submission to the Area Director for a publication resolution). There are 97 pages requiring proofreading, 2 reviewers per page, most common assignment is 12 pages per person.

Please note your assignments in the attachment, review the assigned pages for editorial corrections, fill out the CRM if you find anything that needs to be corrected**, and send it to me by 15 July 2026. You may also send to the WG mailing list if you prefer. Note that you are free to proofread more of the document if you so wish, but please try to cover the assigned pages.



** Definition of "anything that needs to be corrected": The focus of this effort is grammar, spelling, awkward wording, missing words, etc. As noted, in the recent Spring Meetings, we agreed that pending conclusion of testing we were on the glide path towards publication. However, from a technical standpoint, if you think there is something that is WRONG, identify that; if there is something UNCLEAR, suggest a clarification. Otherwise, if it's stylistic or opinion or alternative technically valid formulation, leave it alone in this proofreading. Ignore any page numbering errors or footer artifacts; these will be corrected by the CCSDS Technical Editor.
