[MOIMS-NAV-EXEC] Conjunction Data Message P1.5 Document and Testing (Round 2)

Dear NAV WG,

First of all Happy New Year to you all!

As promised at the last NAV call please find attached CDM Pink Book P1.5 ready for test along with the corresponding test plan/report.  This is the second round of testing due after reporting at the CCSDS Fall Meetings back in September.

So in summary.  P1.5 of the CDM has one minor change.  As decided at the fall meetings the COLLISION_PROBABILITY keyword has been reverted back to it's CDM V1 definition, i.e. no dual use of it representing either a single probability or an array of probabilities, and the COLLISION_PROBABILITIES keyword has been introduced to facilitate the latter.  The test plan has been updated to reflect this as COLLISION_PROBABILITY no longer need testing but replaced with the new keyword.

Regarding testing, the current status is as follows:

  1.  TEST #1: CNES->NASA JSC: Completed: Successful

  1.  TEST #2: DLR->GMV: Completed: Successful: However the test report requires all new keywords to be tested across tests 2 and 3 and this was not achieved.

  1.  TEST #3: TraCCS->NASA CARA: Completed: Failed: CDM message produced by TraCCS did not comply with P1.4 standard, see attached test report from NASA CARA [2025-09-03 - CDM Test #3 Test report - NASA CARA].

  1.  TEST #4: NASA JPL: Pending successful completion of tests 1 to 3.

I would like to thank you all for you efforts to date, we are nearly there, so could I ask for the following to be performed:

  1.  TEST #3 requires repeating with a correctly formatted message from TraCCS to NASA CARA.

  1.  TraCCS and DLR need to liaise to make sure that test messages 2 and 3 combined cover all new keywords repeating test #2 if required.  Attached is a spreadsheet listing all new keywords and checking to see if they were in either the test case 2 or 3 messages in the P1.4 round of testing [2025-09-15 - Test Case 2 and 3 Keyword Check], those in red were not included and need to be included across the round 2 test case 2 or 3 messages.

  1.  TEST #4 requires completing once test 1 to 3 are complete.

  1.  A CDM P1.6 will need to be produced to include the missing user defined parameter XML text from David, and any corrections resulting from the above testing.
