Here is the "simple report" on Nav WG projects in progress as of our 12-Jun-2024 telecon. Overall progress is good.

500.0 Navigation Data - Definitions and Conventions Green Book (V.4): Julie Halverson has prepared a response to a reader's question on quaternion operations that will be provided to the reader. The SANA registry will be updated with the resolution. A corrigendum to the Green Book will likely be prepared in the near future.


503.0 Tracking Data Message (TDM V.3): Internal WG review of the Pink Book Draft 2.0.2 continues. Juan Crenshaw (lead editor) brought up a few topics for resolution during the telecon.

505.0 Navigation Data Messages XML Specification (NDM/XML V.4): The NDM/XML V.4 document Agency Review commenced 15-May-2024 and will conclude 15-Jul-2024.

507.0 Navigation Events Message (NEM V.1): Initial White Book was discussed at the Spring 2024 meetings. Drafting continues.

507.1 Launch Data Message: Initial White Book was discussed at the Spring 2024 meetings. Drafting continues.

508.0 Conjunction Data Message (CDM V.2): The Agency Review concluded 2024-05-31. Only a few RIDs were received. Summarization of results is in progress. Prototype Test Plan is in progress.

508.2 Fragmentation Data Message: Initial White Book was discussed at the Spring 2024 meetings. Drafting continues.

5xx.0 Navigation Composite Message: The CMC "New Project" Poll closed 12-Jun-2024 with 7 votes to "Adopt". Since this is greater than 50% of the voting members, the project should be approved (but we have not yet received official confirmation).
