Dan:

Perhaps fair game for a discussion with the WG on 05/24, but from my point of view, the intent was to use the value in the Abbreviation column. That's consistent with past practice, and the technical penchant for acronyms.

The downside is that you've probably observed that more than half of the "Abbreviation" values are null in that registry...

Yep, I’d already seen that it’s the same in the ODM, and already changed it (in a follow-on version to what I’d sent earlier today) to the full name.

Question is:  What is the right answer?

I discovered in my ADM review that the “Organization Name” for JAXA is its full name (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), whereas an abbreviation of JAXA is listed.

Does this mean that JAXA can be used in the message for organization, or is the message creator supposed to enter the full name?
