[MOIMS-NAV-EXEC] Simple Report on Nav WG books / March 2021

Per your request, here is the "simple report" on Nav WG projects in progress as of 10-Mar-2021, after today's telecon.

500.2 Navigation Data Messages Overview - Green Book V.2: The material in this document ages rather rapidly, and it is time for a refresh. We will propose a new project in the near future.

502.0 Orbit Data Message (ODM): Version 3 updates are in progress. A near final version Pink Book 2.41 was distributed for internal review 09-Mar-2021. This will be a "proofreading review" rather than a "technical review"; the technical content is assessed to be sufficiently stable to proceed. After the proofreading review, we will submit to you for your Area Director review and resolutions for advancement to Agency Review. A test plan has been drafted, and prototype development is in progress.

503.0 Tracking Data Message (TDM): Idea collection for this document update is still in progress. No draft is yet scheduled.

504.0 Attitude Data Messages (ADM): Version 2 updates are in progress. Version P1.11 of the Pink Book was distributed 09-Mar-2021 for internal review. It's possible that this document will be ready for Area Director review and Agency Review in mid-2021.

505.0 Navigation Data Messages XML Specification (NDM/XML): RIDs from the Agency Review have been applied to the Pink Book, and it has been returned to the Secretariat for final document processing. RID submitters have been notified of dispositions. Testing for the authorized prototype was completed, and a Test Report submitted. All materials have been submitted to the AD and a Resolution for CESG/CMC "Approval to Publish" polls has been issued. Corrigenda for the CDM, RDM, and TDM have been prepared and submitted to the AD for CESG/CMC approval polls; these polls are currently on hold.

507.0 Navigation Events Message (NEM): Distribution of the first NEM White Book is targeted for around the time of the Spring 2021 Meetings. The NEM has the same Lead Editor as the ADM Version 2 update, which has higher priority.

508.0 Conjunction Data Message (CDM):  The first Pink Book draft P1.0.1 is currently nearing the completion of internal review.

509.0 Pointing Request Message (PRM): A set of Corrigenda has been prepared and submitted to the Secretariat for processing and CESG/CMC polling. The polls have not yet been conducted.

Recently published standards/other documents with no action necessary: 500.0 Navigation Data - Definitions and Conventions Green Book V.4, 503.0 Tracking Data Message (TDM) V.2, 508.1 Re-Entry Data Message (RDM).
