[MOIMS-NAV-EXEC] Simple Report on Nav WG books / August 2020

Per your request, here is the "simple report" on Nav WG projects in progress as of our 05-Aug-2020 telecon. We are doing 2-hour meetings once monthly now given the reduced work time afforded by the Virtual Spring Meetings.

502.0 Orbit Data Message (ODM): Version 3 updates are in progress. Pink Book version P2.40 incorporating results of the P2.39 review and updates from the Spring Meetings discussions is anticipated in September (slightly delayed due to Lead Editor commitments). Document is starting to converge. Test Plan discussions have started. Updates to some new CCSDS Normative Annexes in the SANA Registries referenced by the ODM remain deprioritized for the short term, but should recommence soon.

503.0 Tracking Data Message (TDM): Version 2 Blue Book was published in June 2020!

504.0 Attitude Data Messages (ADM): Version 2 updates are in progress. A version P1.10 draft was distributed to the WG on 04-Aug-2020; internal review will commence shortly. XML work for the new message it contains is yet to be prepared.

505.0 Navigation Data Messages XML Specification (NDM/XML): The updated version has been submitted to you for Area Director Review; hopefully a Resolution requesting CESG/CMC Polls for Agency Review will result.

507.0 Navigation Events Message (NEM): No discussion in today's telecon. Distribution of the first NEM White Book continues to be delayed. The NEM has the same Lead Editor as the ADM Version 2 update, which has higher priority.

508.0 Conjunction Data Message (CDM):  A first Pink Book draft P1.0.1 is anticipated prior to the Fall 2020 Meetings.

509.0 Pointing Request Message (PRM): A set of Corrigenda has been prepared and is still being worked at ESA prior to submitting to the MOIMS Area Director. A new group member is now working on the Corrigenda.

Recently published standards/other documents with no action necessary: 500.2 Navigation Data Messages Overview - Green Book, 500.0 Navigation Data - Definitions and Conventions Green Book, 508.1 Re-Entry Data Message (RDM).
