Find attached g1.0.7 with Mario’s suggestion implemented.

  *   Section 3.2 Terms and Definitions are merged into section 2.2.2, with some minor adjustments to make the two sections of definitions conform with each other in style (using a leading capital letter for the 3.2 items and adding the colon after the Term for the original 2.2.2 items)
  *   The merge also required the change of Figure 3-1 in section 3 to be Figure 2-1 in section 2, with the attendant Figure re-numbering of all the other figures in both sections and Figure referencing updating throughout the document (and TOC). I also placed Figure 2-1 to be in-line with the document, as opposed to the Figure 3-1 split-column nature, which I always found very awkward.
  *   Minor fix-ups to the 1.3 structure overview and to the section 2.2.2 title due to the merging.

I think it would be cleaner to move all the terms in the same section. It also will not cost too much time. If you agree, please resubmit the document and in the meantime I'll prepare the resolution.

The terms in Section 3.2 are related specifically to the "NAVIGATION DATA MESSAGE EXCHANGE FRAMEWORK" that is the subject of this section. If you prefer, we could move the definitions into Section 2.2.2. (I have copied the Lead Editor for the document in case that is what you would like us to do, so please "Reply All" to this message.)

I believe that these terms are compatible with terms used in the Navigation WG Blue Books, though some of them may have more lengthy definition here and thus perhaps not "identical". We also have a number of terms in the CCSDS SANA Glossary. The WG also recently submitted revisions to the definitions of navigation WG terms on SANA, but they have not yet been processed.

Please advise if you think we should move the definitions into Section 2.2.2.

sorry again for the delay. I went through the document, which I find very good, and I have the following comment

Section 3.2 TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
Why are these terms not defined in section 2.2.2 or in any case all together. Also, I assume that they definition is compatible (or better identical) to the corresponding definitions in the related BBs

@Brigitte: do you have any additional comment?

The CCSDS ORGANIZATION AND PROCESSES document A02.1-Y-4 states that "At such time as the WG has completed its [Green Book] development, the WG chair may petition the CESG via the Area Director to publish the final document as a CCSDS Informational Report."

The attached document represents work that has been conducted in the Navigation WG to provide an update to the existing Navigation Data Messages Overview Green Book (document 500.2-G-1).  We believe that it is ready for publication, and request that the requisite polls and Secretariat document processing commence at your convenience (this was "Resolution NAV-2" in our final report from the Spring 2019 Meetings recently concluded).

Please advise if there is anything else you need or require.
