Dear All,

Nice to read you and see a happy end for this book.
I hope it’ll be useful for all new missions and why not being applied by old one’s.

Regards.
Marc.

Dear All,

Many congratulations on finally getting the standard published. It was a privilege to have worked on it together with you all - let's hope it now achieves its full potential!

I'm currently in Armenia at the end of a 3 week trip through the southern Caucasus region [getting close to the Iranian border, Mehran!], but will be sure to have a look at the finished product on my return.

Best wishes,

Roger

Subject: Publication of the CCSDS Mission Planning Services Blue Book 529x1b1
Dear all,

The Mission Planning Services Blue Book issue 1 (529x1b1) is now published and can be found on the CCSDS website:

               https://ccsds.org/publications/bluebooks/entry/5048/

I would like to thank everyone involved, past and present, who has made their contribution to this book. It has been a long journey, with many discussions, reviews, iterations, updates, and the extensive prototyping work performed. This has truly been a team effort, and I believe it has resulted in a high-quality book that is expected to serve as the reference for mission planning interoperability in the years to come.

Looking forward, we will now focus on the documents in support of the standard, such as the Magenta Book on the Mission Planning Information Model and the 5-year update of the Mission Planning Green Book. In addition, we will promote the standard in the mission planning community (for example in SpaceOps 2027) and may support the adoption of the standard by the involved Member Agencies.

Regards,

Peter
