[Moims-mp] MP&S Draft Red Book in advance of the Agencies Review

Dear all,

As discussed in the WG meeting yesterday, I have attached here the latest draft of our Blue Book as input to the Agencies Review.

Compared to the Blue Book issue that we completed in July 2023, the current draft "Red Book" has undergone editing by the CCSDS Secretariat. In addition, we have incorporated feedback from the CESG in advance of the Agencies Review. I have listed the most obvious changes:


  *   All informative material regarding the Information Model was removed and will now be published in a separate Magenta Book.
  *   Sections 3 (now Services) and 4 (now Information Model) were swapped.
  *   References to the SANA registry were improved, in particular for the MAL and also for the NAV types used in the PRM.
  *   The Security Annex has been enlarged.
  *   Many comments of the CESG were incorporated (most of these resulted merely in clarifications).
  *   A small number of bugs and inconsistencies were resolved.

I expect that the current issue of the book will be pretty close to the "official" one that will be made available for the Agencies Review. As such, each of you could start reviewing the current book in advance of the CCSDS Spring Meetings, such that we can use the time to hopefully make progress on our internal comments.
