[Moims-dai] Architecture - DAI Telecon

Hi all,

Attached please find the latest version of the Architecture Description book and the Use Case and Requirements spreadsheets.


1.       Architecture Description document – Section 3 has been regenerated. The removal of one layer of abstraction makes the system architecture much simpler. The plan is to generate new UML diagrams before the May CCSDS meeting.

2.       Use Case spreadsheet – The latest review comments (M. Conrad) have been addressed. We have decided that the document is good enough for now. However Use Case development remains a work in progress.

3.       Requirements spreadsheet – The latest review comments (D. Giaretta) have been addressed.

The Architecture Description book will be updated before the May CCSDS meeting. Here are some questions for our telecon tomorrow.


1)      In Section 3, the “Active Objects”, namely Registry, Repository, etc, have been defined as classes (with methods). The plan is to re-generate the UML class diagrams for these components. Any suggestions before the diagrams are generated?

2)      Should the Uses Cases be included in the book? As appendices?

3)      Should the Requirements be included in the book? As appendices?
