Hello Bendik,

The working group responsible for ISO 14721 - OAIS is also responsible for
ISO 16363 Audit and Certification of Trustworthy Digital Repositories. The
latter standard is used for assessing claims of OAIS compliance. A
technological solution alone cannot be OAIS compliant. Many of the
requirements in OAIS have to do with the organization and the governance
put in place by the organization (repository) charged with managing a
particular set of content. My comment was meant to draw the attention of
the other members of the working group to some of the underlying
implications of your comment.
