Dear ISO/TC 20/SC 13 Members/ Liaisons, and Associates,

The Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS) Mission 
Operations and Information Management Services Area (MOIMS) Data Archive 
Ingestion Working Group (DAI WG) has opened a five-year review of the 
CCSDS standard 650.0-M-2  - Reference model for an open archival 
information system (OAIS); this standard was approved as ISO standard 
14721 in 2012. Please see the attached, ?ISO 
TC20-SC13.ANNOUNCEMENT-9.Sep.2016.pdf,? for the details of the commenting 
process.

Please also note that a closely related follow-on standard, CCSDS 
652.0-B-1 - Audit and Certification of Trustworthy Digital Repositories, 
Magenta Book. Issue1. September 2011 (ISO 16363:2012), is also due for its 
five-year review. Details of the comment process for this standard may 
also be found in the attached announcement.
