[Moims-dai] Proposal for Alternate Site Meeting of DAI WG

Hi Mike,

I am glad to help in any way that I can. In terms of accessing the
building, etc here are a few things all participants should know. You can
find most of this information at:
http://www.archives.gov/dc-metro/college-park/

The address is:

National Archives at College Park
8601 Adelphi Road
College Park, MD 20740-6001

Visitor parking is available, but very limited during research hours.
Parking spaces in the garage area fill very quickly. If you plan to visit,
we recommend that you use public transportation

*If you intend to drive and park, please note:*

   - Parking opens to the public at 8:00 AM and you must leave the parking
areas no later than 30 minutes after the research room closes

   - Upon arrival, a security officer will:
      - Check the driver's license of the operator and photo identification
of any passengers (all visitors must present photo ID)

      - Direct you to the parking garage, satellite parking or street
      parking based on parking availability

Upon entering the building all visitors and their belongings are subjected
to metal detectors. Each person entering must present a government issued
photo id (passport, driver's license, U.S. Federal Agency badge, etc.)

The room where we will be meeting is in the "public" part of the building,
so no special badging is needed for access. Lecture Room A where we will
meet is on the lower level of the building.

If you bring electronics, you may have to register their serial numbers
with the security guards, I am not sure. I believe that is only necessary
if you are going to the "researcher" or "staff" parts of the building.

I hope to be there to meet you all upon your arrival. In any case you
should be able to reach me via my cell phone: 301-785-2564 or via the
contact information below if I am in WV.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Mark
