[Liaisons] CCSDS Review of CCSDS 521.0-P-2.1, Mission Operations Message Abstraction Layer

The following draft CCSDS Recommended Standard has been placed on line and is available for CCSDS-ISO TC 20/SC 13 Liaison review:

     CCSDS 521.0-P-2.1. Mission Operations Message Abstraction Layer. 
                        Pink Book. Issue 2.1. February 2023.

DOCUMENT DESCRIPTION:  The Mission Operations Message Abstraction Layer (MAL) Recommended Standard defines the MAL in conformance with the service framework specified in the Mission Operations Services Concept Green Book (CCSDS 520.0-G-3).  Current draft update simplifies and clarifies text as part of an overall effort to improve MO framework specifications, corrects major deviations from CCSDS style guidelines, and attempts to better differentiate normative from informative text.

The due date for receipt of review comments by the Secretariat is 17 April 2023.  CCSDS-ISO TC 20/SC 13 Liaisons may submit review comments directly to the CCSDS Secretariat.  More information is available at the Web site identified below.
