[Liaisons] CCSDS Review of CCSDS 922.3-R-1, Cross Support Transfer Service—Forward Frame Service

The following draft CCSDS Recommended Standard has been placed on 
line and is available for CCSDS-ISO TC 20/SC 13 Liaison review:

       CCSDS 922.3-R-1.  Cross Support Transfer Service--Forward
                        Frame Service.  Red Book.  Issue 1.
                         December 2018.

DOCUMENT DESCRIPTION:  This draft Recommended Standard defines the 
Forward Frame Cross Support Transfer Service, a service that provides 
the transfer of fixed-length and variable-length Transfer Frames and 
Channel Access Data Units to a Provider Cross Support Service System 
Earth-Space Link Terminal (e.g., a ground station) to be encoded (as 
needed) and radiated to a Space User Node (e.g., a Mission 
spacecraft). The supported variable-length Transfer Frames include 
CCSDS Telecommand Transfer Frames and variable-length CCSDS Unified 
Space Data Link Protocol (USLP) Transfer Frames. The supported 
fixed-length Transfer Frames include the CCSDS Advanced Orbiting 
System Transfer Frames and fixed-length USLP Transfer Frames.

The due date for receipt of review comments by the Secretariat is 1 
April 2019.  CCSDS-ISO TC 20/SC 13 Liaisons may submit review 
comments directly to the CCSDS Secretariat.  More information is
