[Liaisons] CCSDS Review of CCSDS 727.0-P-4.1, CCSDS File Delivery Protocol (CFDP)

The following draft CCSDS Recommended Standard has been placed on 
line and is available for CCSDS-ISO TC 20/SC 13 Liaison review:

      CCSDS 727.0-P-4.1.  CCSDS File Delivery Protocol (CFDP).
                          Pink Book.  Issue 4.1.  November 2014.

DOCUMENT DESCRIPTION:  The CFDP Recommended Standard defines a 
protocol suitable for the transmission of files to and from 
spacecraft data storage and capable of operating in a wide variety of 
mission configurations.  In addition to the purely file delivery 
related functions, the protocol includes file management services to 
allow control over the storage medium.  The current draft update 
moves Store and Forward Overlay Operations from section 6 to a new 
normative annex; removes Extended Procedures; and adds support for 
large files, multi-segment records, and per-segment metadata.


The due date for receipt of review comments by the Secretariat is 
2015-1-23.  CCSDS-ISO TC 20/SC 13 Liaisons may submit review comments 
directly to the CCSDS Secretariat.  More information is available at
