CSTSWG colleagues ---
I have posted the updated (version W-010) draft TD-CSTS to the CWE > Cross Support Services Area (CSS)<http://cwe.ccsds.org/css> > Documents<http://cwe.ccsds.org/css/docs/Forms/AllItems.aspx?View=%7B8045374D-F8E0-4356-83CA-993252A38FE8%7D> > CSS-CSTS<http://cwe.ccsds.org/css/docs/Forms/AllItems.aspx?RootFolder=%2Fcss%2Fdocs%2FCSS%2DCSTS&View=%7B8045374D-F8E0-4356-83CA-993252A38FE8%7D> > CWE Private<http://cwe.ccsds.org/css/docs/Forms/AllItems.aspx?RootFolder=%2Fcss%2Fdocs%2FCSS%2DCSTS%2FCWE%20Private&View=%7B8045374D-F8E0-4356-83CA-993252A38FE8%7D> > Future Services using Toolkit<http://cwe.ccsds.org/css/docs/Forms/AllItems.aspx?RootFolder=%2Fcss%2Fdocs%2FCSS%2DCSTS%2FCWE%20Private%2FFuture%20Services%20using%20Toolkit&View=%7B8045374D-F8E0-4356-83CA-993252A38FE8%7D> > Tracking Data CSTS folder at URL

This update includes all changes that resulted from comment received at the Pasadena meeting, as well as updates to bring the book into conformance with the 8 July 2015 version of the CSTS SFW. These updates include:

-          Making the tracking-data-types configuration parameter accessible, as recommended at the Pasadena meeting;

-          Allowing the Information Query to access the monitorable parameters of all functional resources associated with the production of the tracking data that is accessible by the TD-CSTS instance, as well as the configuration parameters of the procedures of that TD-CSTS instance. Formerly, only the procedure configuration parameters were accessible by the IQ procedure, which as a result required a refinement of the behavior of the Framework IQ procedure. Happily, the reworking of the Framework procedure over the past year or so has now allowed the TD-CSTS specification to directly adopt the Framework IQ procedure, and the separate derived IQ procedure specification has been deleted from the TD-CSTS;

-          Aligning the Buffered Tracking Data Message Delivery procedure with the latest Framework BDD procedure. One aspect of this alignment is the assignment of object identifiers for the tdmRecordingBufferSize configuration parameter and the tdmRecordingBufferOverflow event. The Framework now requires that any service-specific functional resource type derived from the Recording Buffer class implement a recording buffer size configuration parameter and a functional resource recording buffer overflow notifiable event;

-          Aligning the ICS Proforma annex with the Framework ICS Proforma specification;

- Adding examples of Atomic Segments to annex A, Specification of TD-CSTS TDM Components.

The posted zip file also contains a plain text version of the three ASN.1 modules from the book. This file should be suitable for compilation.

I believe that this book is consistent with the SFW and that it addresses all comments and concerns that have been expressed. Of course, I am now submitting it to the CSTSWG for review and comment. Thank you.

Best regards,
John
