Members of the CSTSWG,

I received an inquiry (below) about the possible standardization of
throw event IDs. I just now tried to see if there was any mention of
this on the CWE, but the CCSDS server appears to be down.

Thank you.

Best regards,

John

Subject: Standardization of throw event ids

Gentlemen,

As you may recall, Lockheed Martin and JSC are working with RtLogic and
Avtec on a Version-2 compliant SLE solution to support our ISS S-Band
communication link. For the implementation, we are looking to use the
CLTU THROW_EVENT to change the production service uplink bit rate.
Brian Safigan of Avtec seemed to recall some mention of a push in the
SLE community to try and standardize the THROW_EVENT IDs and parameters
by maintaining some sort of registry that other programs may add/reuse.
Was this plan ever realized? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
