Dear Erik,
Please find here a draft 3 addressing the comments: 930x0g-draft-3.docx<https://spacecomm.sharepoint.com/:w:/r/sites/CSS/Shared%20Documents/CSS-CLOUD/Draft%20Documents/ConceptBook/930x0g-draft-3.docx?d=w6056c86b5fa74ababd677aeec212b9c7&csf=1&web=1&e=B3b6sr>

For the figures I suggest to use the corresponding powerpoint file, that was accepted int he past: 930x0g-draft-3.pptx<https://spacecomm.sharepoint.com/:p:/r/sites/CSS/Shared%20Documents/CSS-CLOUD/Draft%20Documents/ConceptBook/930x0g-draft-3.pptx?d=w55e7645f37c64e5f9a1088019a84103d&csf=1&web=1&e=IKtAbH>

I updated the file extension in 7.3 along the lines of your comments for all types.

Best regards,
Holger

Dear Holger,

Thank you for sending the concept document. I have taken a look and have some minor comments and suggestions below. I think once these are addressed then I think we can submit the book for CESG publication polling.

Best regards,
-Erik

---notes re concept book---

  1. General: we will need to have .svg kind of graphics submitted separately from the book. Given that the diagrams are done in powerpoint (I think), it should be possible to save the diagrams as .svg files? Alternatively, perhaps we can include a powerpoint file with the diagrams in the publication package for the secretariat ?
  2. General: We should probably generate a "clean" version of the document (i.e., accept all changes, remove comments) to send to the secretariat.
  3. Probably we should date the book April 2026?
  4. Figure 1: I'm not sure that the annotation "CDDS Production State" ( bottom right the diagram) really adds anything to the diagram, given that CDDS Production is already noted. Maybe just remove the annotation?
  5. Section 7.3 File extensions -- "Telecommand report files" -- these are already files, so maybe this could just be "Telecommand reports" with a "tcr" extension?

Dear Erik,
As discussed in out last working group meeting, the WG would like to start the AD review of the concept book draft 2: 930x0g-draft-2.docx<https://urldefense.us/v3/__https:/spacecomm.sharepoint.com/:w:/r/sites/CSS/Shared*20Documents/CSS-CLOUD/Draft*20Documents/ConceptBook/930x0g-draft-2.docx?d=w37e6569186c043f09b3a7627de19f280&csf=1&web=1&e=jtX13G__;JSU!!PvBDto6Hs4WbVuu7!LhCorlmmm8_izBCB4PArYomvP4e8xKPtUMZhxSNs-2fR9b1vOdm2eF7jSBnjJtP_jUpchMVKd_f0HitI9wfiK5hqLZ9tHeq9H7DU$>

Note that there is one late addition for the Cyber Security chapter. I added a discussion of Network Segregation in the Context of CDDS. CDDS may really offer an advantage over SLE and CSTS, as the underlying technologies like AWS Kinesis, Google Messaging, gRPC and others, support out of the box common proxy and inverse proxies. Compared to SLE / CSTS that allows to comply to security regulations without need of dedicated SLE / CSTS proxy systems; quite an advantage.

Best regards,
Holger
