Subject: [EXTERNAL] [CCSDS-All] CCSDS Spring 2026 Meetings – Common Ground Forum (May 25) – Call for Participation

As a follow-up to the successful Lunar Interoperability Forum (Washington, DC) and Standards for Interoperability Workshop (Hamburg, Germany), the Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS) will hold:

Common Ground
Forging the Standards for Lunar and Deep Space Missions
25 May 2026 in Puerto Rico, USA

The aim of the workshop is to accelerate the development of international space communication and data systems standards required to ensure multinational and multi-system interoperability around the Moon, Mars, and beyond.

This workshop will bring commercial and government-funded implementing organizations together with the developers of relevant standards to identify missing standards and methods, and to encourage participants to become involved in their development.

This announcement invites short talks from all stakeholders. Talks should note what are your offered Comm and PNT services, which interoperable standards to be addressed along with proposed modification to applicable CCSDS standards.
