[CMC] Accepting nominations for SLS Deputy Area Director

CNES would like to nominate Jean-Luc Issler as their candidate for the role of Space Link Services (SLS) Deputy Area Director.

Jean-Luc Issler has been active in the standardization domain, and CCSDS in particular, for 15 years.

Our dear SLS Deputy AD Gilles Moury has announced his plans to retire.

Following our recent practice of securing a replacement prior to full retirement to allow for a period of overlap and transfer of knowledge, we’d like to request nominees for this position now.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] My replacement as SLS Deputy Area Director and SDLS WG chairman
Dear Sami and Daniel,

As I mentioned to you during the spring meeting in Laurel, I will retire in 2026. Therefore, next CCSDS meeting in September in Hamburg will be my last CCSDS meeting. It would be preferable if my replacement as SLS area DAD could be nominated by that time such that I could hand it over to my successor during the meeting. If this is not feasible, I will do it during the last trimester of 2025.
