[CMC] CCSDS IT Updates – Meeting Registration and Mailman Migration

Dear CESG-All and CMC,

I am writing to provide two important updates regarding Meeting Registration and Mailman (mailing lists):

1. CCSDS Online Meeting Registration
The online meeting registration system for the Fall 2025 Meetings has been “soft” deployed and is available at:
https://ccsds.org/meetings/fall2025/.

You are welcome to register at your earliest convenience. Should you have any questions or encounter any issues with the registration process, please contact us at techsupport at mailman.ccsds.org, and we will make the necessary adjustments. A formal announcement regarding meeting registration will be issued tomorrow, 14 August 2025, in the afternoon.

2. CCSDS Mailman Migration
On Friday, 15 August 2025, following business hours, all CCSDS mailing lists hosted at https://mailman.ccsds.org<https://mailman.ccsds.org/> will be migrated from on-premises servers at ASRC to cloud infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This migration marks the completion of our broader initiative to transition CCSDS IT solutions to cloud-based platforms, as follows:

• CCSDS.org – WordPress.com

• CCSDS CWE – SharePoint Online

• CCSDS Mailman – AWS Servers

Following the migration, all URLs and email addresses will remain unchanged. From an end-user perspective, no functional differences should be observed. In the event that an email is sent during the migration window, it will be queued in the spam filter and delivered once Mailman services are restored. We do not anticipate any loss of email messages.
