[CMC] Call for Nominations for Three Vacating Area Directors

Agency Delegates,

We have discussed this verbally on many occasions and we have even received nominations, but the formal written solicitation for nominations might not have been formally sent out.  This completes this formality.

We’d like to expedite this for all nominations to be in by 31 October 2024.  Polls will then be open.

Due to two impending retirements and one vacancy due to advancement to the CESG chair role, we are seeking agency nominations for the roles of:


  1.  Area Director for Systems Engineering Area <https://cwe.ccsds.org/sea> (SEA)<https://cwe.ccsds.org/sea> replacing Peter Shames
  2.  Area Director for Spacecraft Onboard Interface Services Area <https://cwe.ccsds.org/sois> (SOIS)<https://cwe.ccsds.org/sois> replacing Jonathan Wilmot
  3.  Area Director for  Mission Operations and Information Management Services Area <https://cwe.ccsds.org/moims> (MOIMS)<https://cwe.ccsds.org/moims> replacing Daniel Fischer
