ESA would like to nominate Dr. Daniel Fischer as their candidate for the role of CESG chair.

Dr. Fischer has been active in the standardization domain, and CCSDS in particular, since more than 15 years. Since 2023 he has been MOIMS Area Director.

This is to announce the retirement of Dr. Klaus-Juergen Schulz as CCSDS Engineering Steering Group Chair effective end Nov 2024. Mr Schulz will be available for the CCSDS Technical, CESG and CMC meetings on 4-14 Nov 2024 in London to facilitate a smooth handover to his successor.
