CCSDS Management Council,
 
    The Spacecraft Onboard Interface Services Area (SOIS) Area Director, and current Applications Support Services Working Group Chair is retiring from NASA and CCSDS after the 2024 Fall meeting and respectfully submits Simon Singh as a replacement candidate for Applications Support Services Working Group Chair. 
 
Mr. Singh is Civil Servant in the Flight Software branch at Goddard Spaceflight Center. He is a software systems engineer with over 20 years’ experience in flight software missions and has been part of CCSDS SOIS-App since Fall 2022 and CCSDS SIS-DTN since summer 2019.  He has worked with ISO and IEC standards committees and was a member of the US delegation to both ISO and IEC meetings.
 
 
As documented in CCSDS A02.1-Y-4, the CMC is invited to propose other candidates for consideration within 30 days of this email.
