[CMC] Bring KARI into Full CCSDS Membership

Friends,

I had a nice phone conversation with Tom Gannet who pointed out that there is a written process.  The simple steps are

1. KARI send a written request; a simple email would do.
2. The CMC can vote either via a poll or perhaps wait until the Toulouse meeting
3. We can (optional) invite KARI to send a representative to the CMC Toulouse meeting to make a short presentation

Dear CMC and CESG members,

South Korea’s KARI has been a CCSDS observer member and I have recently talked to them about the possibility of moving to full membership. They are interested. They have been growing significantly and now have a lunar mission on its way, which carries a DTN demo, and just built their first deep space 35-meter diameter station, among other recent accomplishments.

However, I do not know the process for making them a full member or if that automatically makes them a CMC member. I assume so, but have not found a written process.

I am writing to ask if any of you remembers the process the last time an agency joined as a full member and to also ask you if we should invite KARI to Toulouse to make a presentation to us.
