Dear Michael,

I reconfirm what has been said by Jean-Marc and Osvaldo, concerning the yearlong postponing of SpaceOps Conference in Cape Town, recently re-scheduled for the 3 -7 May 2021 period, after the many discussions 
held, mainly last month of March, among all the involved and concerned SpaceOps and IAF colleagues.

I also agree with Jean-Marc, it is exactly the same week as the Space OPS and several people will need to decide to which event they will travel.

Bonjour Michael,

SpaceOps 2020 conference has been postponed one year and will become SpaceOps 2021, 3 -7 May 2021, Cape Town International Convention Centre.

These are the same dates and possibly a direct conflict for a significant number of CCSDS participants who usually attend that conference.

Dear Michael-san,

Week of 3-7 May is quite unfavorable for participation from Japan as May 3, 4, 5 are national holidays.
Because our national holidays start from previous week of April 29, a lot of nationals take vacation until May 9.
It's easy to expect that a lot more people take vacation next year because of the containment this year.

We would appreciate reconsideration of the schedule.

NASA is currently planning for the Spring 2021 CCSDS Technical and CESG Meetings. The meetings will be held in Huntsville, Alabama at the Westin Huntsville, just as was planned for 2020. NASA proposes the following dates:

*        3-7 May 2021 for the Technical Meetings followed by,

*        10 May 2021 for the CESG Meeting.

If you are aware of any conflicts for these dates, please let us know at secretariat at mailman.ccsds.org<mailto:secretariat at mailman.ccsds.org>. We will take any conflicts into account and try to select the best dates for all participants.
