Dear CMC Colleagues:

Further to Michael’s email below, we have just found out that the RCM launch will be now on June 12th which means that I will unfortunately miss the social dinner on Wednesday evening. Depending on what travel options are available to me when I book my travel back I may or may not be able to attend the meeting in person next Thursday. As the RCM launch project manager, I was asked to stay in California to support our Canadian flagship mission.

Next Tuesday morning, please ask for Sylvie Bachand at the CSA reception (and François Alain as back up) and make sure to bring along your passports. I will join you online for the meeting when my schedule permits.

You are correct that the RCM constellation is scheduled to launch on 11 June 2019 and that CSA Headquarters is the primary mission operations location. The CMC will be meeting as planned at Canadian Space Agency Headquarters:

Saint-Hubert, QC J3Y 8Y9, Canada

All attendees have already provided their names and passport information to Siamak and security at CSA. There should be no additional security constraints for attendees.

On a related note, Siamak will be attending the launch of RCM in California in person and will likely miss the Tuesday morning portion of the agenda. Siamak has asked his colleague, François Alain, who is CSA’s IOAG representative, to participate in his place. Should a delay in the RCM launch schedule occur, we will make adjustments accordingly, but the CMC meeting will proceed as scheduled.
