Thank you for your message, James.
Possibly, for not attending the CMC meetings in Beijing, I was not aware that David was leaving the CCSDS secretariat. Of course, Calvin (“Cal”) Ramos (Portuguese or Brazilian?)
is most welcome in the team.
For sure, I cannot omit myself at all, that I do wish to express my special thanks to David Ross for his untiring and decisive, professional and competent support he gave us in so
many pending issues I had in our every-day relation to CMC and SC13, all the time, during his stay with you in both secretariats. Thank you, indeed.
Sincerely,
EDUARDO W. BERGAMINI

Assunto: [CMC] New lead for the CCSDS secretariat
Hi All,
As you are all aware, David Ross is no longer supporting the CCSDS Secretariat. I am pleased to announce that he will be replaced by Calvin Ramos. Cal is currently a program manager at ASRC Federal and former technology manager at NASA Glenn Research Center where he was responsible for overseeing several organizations responsible for the development of space communications technology for NASA. His administrative and technical management experience will be valuable as we continue to push for international interoperability for space data standards.
Feel free to welcome Cal as he will be starting effective 2 July 2018. He can be reached at the following coordinates:
