[CMC] SIS Area Director

Dear CMC Members,


As some of you may have heard, SIS Area Director, Keith Scott, will be stepping down from his position as Area Director. To replace Keith, NASA is nominating Scott Burleigh for the SIS Area Director. Scott is very capable individual for this position and has been serving this area for many years.  This nomination ensures the continuity of work in the SIS area with minimum distribution and keeps the leadership of the area in capable hands of an excellent and knowledgeable engineer.



If you have any objections or other candidates, please let the Secretariat know by COB Thursday December 15.  Any new candidates for this position can be discussed at the next CMC mid-term teleconference, 13 February 2017. If no objections, the Secretariat will submit a poll for Scott Burleigh directorship.
