Dear Mike,

I am still a bit shocked by the news and nevertheless I want to congratulate you for all the achievements you have accomplished with CCSDS and also of course with Nasa, SpaceOps and much more.

We will miss your leadership and collaboration skills that allowed so many fruitful discussions in the CMC and facilitated making good decisions, despite of the natural difficulties of convergence of the many Agencies involved.

At the same time I welcome James as the new Nasa rep in the CMC and I am looking forward to work with him for the future of space collaboration.

I hope you can still remain engaged and to see you soon again.
