[CMC Alert] CCSDS Review of CCSDS 131.0-P-5.1, TM Synchronization and Channel Coding

 The following draft CCSDS Recommended Standard has been placed online for CCSDS Agency review:

CCSDS 131.0-P-5.1. TM Synchronization and Channel Coding. Pink Book.
                        Issue 5.1. August 2025.

DOCUMENT DESCRIPTION:  The Recommended Standard for TM Synchronization and Channel Coding contains specifications to be used by space missions on synchronous communications links. The current update adds turbo code channel interleaver and moves slicing to its own section, applicable to all block codes.

The due date for receipt of Agency review comments by the CCSDS Review Coordinator is 26 November 2025.  More information is available at the website identified below.
