[CMC Alert] CCSDS Review of CCSDS 142.0-P-1.1, Non-Coherent Optical Communications Coding and Synchronization

The following draft CCSDS Recommended Standard has been placed on line for CCSDS Agency review:

     CCSDS 142.0-P-1.1. Non-Coherent Optical Communications Coding 
                        and Synchronization. Pink Sheets. Issue 
                        1.1. November 2023.

DOCUMENT DESCRIPTION:  This Recommended Standard specifies channel coding and synchronization schemes for free space optical communications systems used by space missions. The current draft adds Optical On/Off Keying for high photon flux links.

The due date for receipt of Agency review comments by the CCSDS Review Coordinator is 30 January 2024.  More information is available at the Web site identified below.
