[CMC Alert] CCSDS Review of CCSDS 122.0-P-1.1, Image Data Compression

The following draft CCSDS Recommended Standard has been placed on 
line for CCSDS Agency review:

      CCSDS 122.0-P-1.1.  Image Data Compression.  Pink Sheets.
                          Issue 1.1.  July 2016.

DOCUMENT DESCRIPTION:  This Recommended Standard defines an 
image-data compression algorithm applicable to digital data from 
payload instruments and specifies means to control compression rate 
and how these compressed data shall be inserted into source packets 
for retrieval and decoding. The current draft update adds 
modifications to support a proposed draft Recommended Standard for 
Spectral Pre-Processing Transform for Multispectral and Hyperspectral 
Image Compression.

The due date for receipt of Agency review comments by the Review 
Coordinator is 2016-9-26.  More information is available at the Web 
site identified below.
