[CMC Alert] CCSDS Review of CCSDS 211.2-P-1.1, Proximity-1 Space Link Protocol--C&S Sublayer

The following draft CCSDS Recommended Standard has been placed on 
line for CCSDS Agency review:

      CCSDS 211.2-P-1.1.  Proximity-1 Space Link Protocol--Coding and
                          Synchronization Sublayer.  Pink Book.
                          March 2012.

DOCUMENT DESCRIPTION:  The CCSDS Recommended Standard for Proximity-1 
Space Link Protocol--Coding and Synchronization Sublayer  specifies 
the synchronization and channel coding schemes used with the 
Proximity-1 Data Link Protocol. This draft update includes several 
improvements and clarifications--accomplishing better alignment and 
consistency with the other Proximity-1 Blue Books--and the addition 
of an option for Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) codes.

The due date for receipt of Agency review comments by the Review 
Coordinator is 2012-6-1.  More information is available at the Web 
site identified below.
